– Terms & Conditions –

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made on or before Monday, 7 November 2022 will be refunded, less 25% of the registration fee to cover administration costs. No refunds will be made after this date, however registration may be transferred to a substitute delegate. A refund processing fee of $15.00 is also payable.

Cancellations must be submitted by email to aaee@watermarkevents.com.au.  If cancellation is not received in writing, the registration will not be cancelled, and a refund (if applicable) will not be processed.

Payment

Payment at time of registration is required by credit or debit card. Accepted credit/debit cards are Visa, MasterCard and AMEX. Please note credit card fees of 1.98% apply.

Please note that transactions will appear on your statement as ‘Watermark Events’, our registration technology provider.

Registration Confirmation

Your completed registration and successful payment will be automatically acknowledged via email with confirmation and tax invoice. If you do not receive an email within 10 minutes, please check your junk mail folder. If another copy is required, please email aaee@watermarkevents.com.au. Your registration will only be confirmed upon full payment of fees.

COVID Cancellation Policy

For those registered to attend the face to face live conference, should the Australian Federal &/or State Governments impose travel restrictions due to COVID-19 such as restricting gatherings, closure of borders and travel restrictions, your registration will be converted to a virtual registration, with the difference in registration fee refunded (less a $15 processing fee).

If the cancellation is not due to lockdown, the standard cancellation policy will apply and cancellation fees will be payable.

Cancellation must be due to a Government imposed restriction, not a change of mind due to uncertainty.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance.  It is strongly recommended that attendees take out insurance covering cancellation fees for registration, travel and accommodation, as well as personal injury and loss or injury to property, including baggage.

Neither the Conference Host nor the Conference Managers take any responsibility for any attendee failing to arrange their own insurance, and are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance. In the event of industrial disruptions or force majeure, the Conference Host and the Conference Managers accept no responsibility for losses incurred by attendees.
